Breaking the natural order..

He used to search out the time in which the prayer was accepted..

عَنِ ابْن طاووس ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ :

‏أَنَّهُ كان يَتَحَرَّى السَّاعَةَ الَّتِي يُسْتَجَابُ فِيهَا الدُّعاءُ

‏مِنْ يوم الْجُمُعَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْر

‏قال ابْنُ طَاووسٍ:

‏وماتَ أَبِي فِي ساعَةٍ كَانَ يُحِبُّهَا،

‏ماتَ يومَ الْجُمُعَةِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ

‏[ مصنف عبد الرزاق ٥٥٧٤ ]

Ibn Tawoos رحمة الله عليه said about his father:

He used to actively search out the hour in which prayers are answered from the day of Friday after ‘asr (which is one hour before maghreb).

Ibn Tawoos then said:

My father died in that same hour that he loved (to search out). He died on a Friday after ‘asr.
