5 types of hands

The upper hand is better than the lower hand. The upper hand is that of the giver and the lower (hand) is that of the beggar.”

Al-Bukhari

Ibn hajar extracted that there are five types of hands: ( metaphorically speaking)

1. The highest being the one who spends on others.

2. The one who suffices himself from asking from others.

3. The one who takes without asking.

4. The one who asks (when taking).

5. And finally the one who prevents (from giving and others from giving.)
